The #1 thing missing from today’s workplace – find out what it is

Dear Blog,

It's a tough time to be a leader in the workplace. The pressure to do more with less, recruit and retain the right talent in a global marketplace and truly engage the workforce can leave leaders feeling like they're falling short.

And employees are feeling the tension, too – an increasing number of employees say that they feel disengaged at work, believe their employers only care about profit and don't think their leaders understand them.

There's something missing in today's workplace that bridges the gap between leaders and employees. That missing element – and key to an engaged, happy workforce – is empathy.

We're excited to announce the launch of our new Workplace Empathy Monitor. Surveying more than 1,000 leaders, HR professionals and employees, this study gets to the bottom of why empathy matters in the workplace, how leaders have a different view of empathy than their employees and how organizations can increase productivity, engagement and their bottom line, all by fostering a culture of empathy.

Take a look at this key findings poster to learn more about why empathy matters. In the coming weeks, we'll share with you what we've learned about the study, how industry leaders are talking about empathy and what you can do to make your organization a more empathetic place to work.

We hope you'll join us in learning more about #EmpathyAtWork.

Thank you for your time,
