The growing gap between leaders and employees - and what to do about it

Dear Blog,

Businessolver spent the last year studying empathy in the workplace to understand how empathy – or lack thereof – affects businesses and how the differing views employees and leaders have of empathy could impact engagement and bottom-line productivity. And just a snapshot of the key results from our Workplace Empathy Monitor confirm that a change is needed:
  • Only 24% of Americans believe that organizations are empathetic versus 60% of CEOs.
  • 31% of employees believe profit is all that matters to their organization, and that their organization doesn't care about employees.
  • 1 in 3 employees would switch companies, for equal pay, if they were more empathetic.
We're excited to share these and more key findings with leaders, HR professionals and employees. This study has changed our way of thinking about employee engagement, revealing some fascinating trends and a true call to action for leadership. We hope you'll join us in learning and talking more about empathy in the workplace. Click here see the full findings, and learn more about #EmpathyAtWork.

Thank you,
